yep, works fine with pdf's of size around 60-100 mb max.... tried one of my reference books which was around 400mb and it crashed... so will work fine for magazines... even better if you can convert it via calibre into pocketbook compatible formatting...
 
thanks!! thats good. i anyway wont be reading such hefty ebooks. also, read a detailed review after posting here. need to discuss just a bit more. taking the PM route now.

meanwhile uploaded a pic to show its pdf capabilities. as this is an ereader it works better with pdf's formatted to it's screen size with calibre... the image shows a regular pdf textbook of 80mb size (just to show it opens pdfs in the size i mentioned in the original post).. in this pdf the images will look fine and the text will look small as it's essentially a 10 inch page being displayed in a 6 inch screen... once formatted with calibre or other tools, the text will look fine.

Got the reader delivered y'day! checked it properly, read a few ebooks, and am glad to be its 2nd owner! forgot to update here y'day in excitement. :D

yes, and am also enjoying teasing a friend and fellow-member too, who has recently acquired a kindle. :D
