Microsoft Is Financially Helping GeoHot To Fight Against Sony?

^^ Why not ....everything is fair in Love and war :D....Sony deserves it though :p

bad thing is MS might get into bad books of game studios...but who cares...2 years MS will give them a huge paycheck and they will become a$$ wipes like they are doing now to Sony :D
 
^^ Nope that wont happen, the ppl who produce stellar exclusives for Sony are mostly Sony's first party studios for e.g : SCEA Santa Monica (God of War series), Guerrilla Games(Killzone series), Naughty Dog (Uncharted series) etc.

Xbox's only notable exclusives include Gears of War (Epic Studios) and Halo (Bungie). Bungie is now a independent studio and so is Epic. They can produce games for other platforms too unlike Sony's studios which never went away from Playstation.

M$ should learn that money cannot buy everything. 360 exclusive like Mass Effect 2 went multi-plat while none of the Sony's first party exclusives went multiplat right from PS2 era.

We really can't say that whether GeoHot has received donation from Microsoft or not... Coz if he agrees that he has then Microsoft will get in trouble... Or may be Microsoft told him not to disclose that they are helping him... :) Whatever the case is GeoHot is not a stupid guy to accept openly from whom he is receiving donation...
 
Even if GeoHot got the money from Microsoft. There is nothing illegal to donate to funds to someones legal costs. IMHO, It would be wrong only if MS has paid Geohot to hack PS3. But clearly, the payment was given only AFTER sony sued him.

I think they are just helping him.
 
Geohotz isnt accepting donations as of now. According to the site the first round of donations are over and he is able to meet his legal costs as of now. Makes you wonder about the MS funding hoax!
