The Cooler is of no comparison with a stock new SCCF 120mm. The base has been lapped to perfection with perfectly flat and mirror like finish.
The Factory CCF base has concentric ridge like pattern in arc shape, which is really bad for thermal performance. Lapping it down did really improved the performance.
Also I have attached another plated Aluminium heatsink [lapped too] on the base of the CCF and attached a Sunon High cfm [8000 rpm] 40mm fan on that heatsink, but the fan is hardly audible. Also has applied enough Arctic Silver 5 in between. It doesnt dries out as TX-2/MX-2, so used AS5 here.
The fins are in perfect condition, but some minor scratches on top plate [only noticeable if watched closely]. The pipes has been polished to give better than new look.
Bundled are :
*Tube of Tuniq TX-2 [only enough for 4~5 more uses]
*Stock Sunbeam MFDB fan 90 cfm 2000 rpm 20dB with mounting kits.
*AMD/Intel retention kits.
*Already attached Sunon 40 mm fan and heatsink.
*Rosewill 2000 rpm 75 cfm RED silent RED LED fan with 29dB.
- The fan controller is dead, so not bundled
Reason For Sale: Upgrading to dual fan capable cooler.
The cooler runs almost 5~6c cooler than an out of the box SCCF 120. Could be even better with a high cfm fan.
The Rosewill fan was bought from KMD for around 650/- 5 months ago. Its REC and everythin else in my system is BLUE. SO need to get rid of that and get more BLUE fans and CCFLs
Here please take a look at what lapping can do: LINK
