Most of the backup space is acquired by media, specifically media (more specifically videos) and documents. Clearing them up should land your whatsapp backups in <2GB, which I think can be managed in gDrive. Although, now that I think about it, there should be a way to sync these backups to a NAS,
I think this isn't new https://support.google.com/android/thread/243899327/upcoming-changes-to-whatsapp-chat-history-backup-on-android?hl=en
It was announced a while back.
Received the drive in very good packaging. Took me a while to unpack lol.
Ran the following tests on it:
SMART Short Test: OK
SMART Long Test: OK
This was truly a wonderful deal !
Also ran badblocks on it for 2 complete passes with 2 different patterns: Both PASSED.
Left feedback.
You don't need to put the internet in both routers.
You put internet from outside in WAN of old router. Then take another ethernet cable from LAN port of old router to WAN port of new router.
That should be it.
Try and let me know.
Selling this old wifi adapter from TP Link.
Bought this long time back, I think more than 6-7 years.
I do not have the receipt, so I've put today's date in purchase date.
It only supports 2.4Ghz wifi networks and not the newer 5Ghz ones.
It can serve as a backup adapter for you or when you...
Way away from forum for some work, so couldn't respond. Looks like you got a nice router. Set it up and do share the latest speeds over wifi / ethernet.
