If the phone is actually released in the country, then there would be support and warranty coverage. In this case, the pixel 6a qualifies for international warranty.

Update - Amazon internal investigation has been completed. They decided to refund the amount as they do not have an option to offer a replacement. A pickup has been scheduled for tomorrow, post which amount deducted would be credited back to source account.
