for the backup, I suggest using windows backup tool. backup everything using it as your copy and for deleting, I guess you have to ask assistance from your IT personnel.

I would go for dexBG, use google drive and give read/write permission on each folder you've created. This will surely make sure that they only access the folder you've given them access. As I can see you're almost there and the only missing is the folder permission.

have you tried checking your startup list in msconfig? this is also in consideration that all your hardware is working properly.

Have you tried saving the file on your "my document" folder? I guess it has something to do with the permission you're saving the file on.

I simple create restore point and backup of my important files. I also have ubuntu live cd in case restore do not work.
