Sorry for posting late. I would recommend against the HomePod mini. I have a pair and they are great if your TV speakers are not good, mine aren't. However they cannot be compared with a Soundtouch 30 or a HomePod original.

You could try the free 2D plan service on the Utec app. Search for Utec by UltraTech on play store. They will give you a layout plan as per your needs.
