User Review Gionee L800 : The Anti Smartphone review

A fun read. Seems pretty good as a backup phone, which is what you intend as well. Good job!

    Send pet abroad as cargo

That's the kind of information I was looking for! :) Some questions - 1. Which airport? Mumbai? 2. Do we have to book an appointment at the animal center? I'm presuming that this is a Government animal center. 3. How did you go about talking to the airlines? I contacted Lufthansa and they said...

    Send pet abroad as cargo

@booo - Yeah, Canada is easy when it comes to importing pets. It's getting them out of India that is a bigger problem, unsurprisingly. I wanted to know the procedure first-hand from someone who has experienced it. I would have found out the process if I was there but my parents are having a...

    Send pet abroad as cargo

Has anyone here sent or knows anyone who has sent their pets abroad as cargo? I have a small cat and dog back in India and I want to get them here to Canada but I can't find reliable information online and my vet back in India doesn't have any clue. This is a bit urgent as my parents are not...

    Visit to Bangkok - Pattaya

That's the reason why when I went with my friends, I didn't go there for the women. We only went to Phuket, spent a week there doing all tours and activities and had a fantastic time. The last day we took scooters and drove around 70 kms in Phuket. Typically we used to leave early at around 8-9...

iOS Self-repair iPhone 4 broken screen?

I had gotten a quote of Rs 2500 last time I had been to a shop there. Is that reasonable?

iOS Self-repair iPhone 4 broken screen?

Fair enough. Looking at a video tutorial, I see that there are around 34 steps along with a 1000 screws that are needed to be undone in order to do this. Basically, we have to go through the back and remove EVERYTHING in order to reach the front screen... ffs! It would be an interesting project...

iOS Self-repair iPhone 4 broken screen?

My dear sister, who always insists on not using a case, got her comeuppance yesterday when she dropped her iPhone 4 and cracked the screen. The phone currently looks like this: The phone is working perfectly and I was thinking of attempting self-repair and replace the screen. I don't think...

    The Indian Politics Thread

I never said the last paragraph. The further south we travel, the more these national parties lose their stronghold. That being said, before these results, I would never have even thought that BJP had a chance here. The thing is that parties like NCP are so deeply entrenched here it's scary...

    The Indian Politics Thread

Well, I really don't want them to win and I certainly think they have less of a chance now. :)

    The Indian Politics Thread

Cute. :) But neither did the BJP think that they would wipe out the NCP as well, did they? The amount of money pumped in by the BJP plus the anti-Congress sentiment completely changed the course of the elections, or Indian politics as a whole.
