Ok so you got the Bose sound bar with a sub woofer for under 60k. Looks like a good deal for 10k off. Now, why did you choose the Bose instead of a 5.1 system ? Why go for Bose instead of say this Sony https://www.amazon.in/Sony-BDV-N9200W-Digital-Wireless-Blu-ray/dp/B00IO31CFM/

    The wet shaving thread

That's not a proper prep. If you cannot shower, then wet a towel and have it over your beard for at least three minutes. Helps if its warm. Zap it in the microwave for half a minute. This is faster than the shaving cream for ten minutes. Another alternative is face lather. Work up a foam on your...

    The wet shaving thread

I'm starting to rethink what you said here about long vs short passes. Since i don't do long i can only speak about short. Mantic's metaphor is think of the face as a diamond then work on the facets one at a time. More effort but also easier to do a through job. But long is more efficient. If...

    The wet shaving thread

The idea is beard reduction, multiple short passes. I don't think long or short makes a difference. What is your prep like. I only shave after a bath. Do you get more with any other blades ?

    The wet shaving thread

I'll get 7-8 shaves from the the Astra SP's easy. Possibly more. They get blunt very gradually. No dragging. Quite remarkable as most of my blades tend to become uncomfortable as they get blunt

    The wet shaving thread

I'm referring to shave angle not blade angle. Blade angle has to do with how mild or aggressive a blade is when used. People have their personal preferences here. I prefer more mild or smooth to aggressive. My mind wanders all over the place when i shave so this is my thing. Aggressive means you...

Looking for a home UPS that is smart

This is tangentially related but things will be looking up for Flin and other made in Taiwan products if this commentator has it right. China no longer retains a language advantage as most young Taiwanese can speak english these days. This is how the Made in India Lithum batteries will...

    The wet shaving thread

I had a braun ages ago. About a year or two and then you would have to change the blade. Not the device assuming the company stocks such replacements. Course i never changed the blade and thought it was no good any more and then switched to wet shaving. A mach 3 or even twin blade is going to...

    Anybody using LED Grow Lights?

No, my purpose is water testing. That is why the meter won't be used as often.

    Anybody using LED Grow Lights?

The bulb of a pH meter needs to be kept moist otherwise it can get damaged or accuracy can be affected. That means a monthly checkup if the pH meter is used sparingly. You don't have to do this with EC/TDS meters.

    Anybody using LED Grow Lights?

Since you guys are into hydroponics what is your experience with pH meters ? I'm surprised how much care & babying is required if you want them to remain accurate and have delayed my purchase for now.

Best 65 inch TV under Rs. 75000

Either LG or Panasonic And that should tell you something. He is better off holding on to his money, saving up and getting one from either of the above two brands mentioned. How long is he going to keep this thing, 10 years at least isn't it. So I see no point in paying for 65 incher from a...

Suggest a Front Load washer for 20-25K

Let us know how it goes. Whether you see more residue or less Fabric conditioner is a kind of wax which once deposited is harder to remove with room temperature water. So hot water is the only way to go at it. It's not an empty cycle if there is product in it with a specific purpose. Hard...

Have you noticed that with other products you used in the past ? When i tried it in my front loader i noticed the clothes had an odd smell which went away with subsequent washes. The other thing is with LG's tub clean cycle it foamed a lot, the whole machine was full of foam. So LG's tub...

Windows Can I safely format OEM made recovery partition?

Should not be a problem to have two partitions but the recovery software needs to be pointed to the right place. This will add extra complications. It will have to be tested to see whether it works or not. The reason i think its best to keep the original or a back up of it is when you do sell...
