    The "Everyday" show-off thread !

Thanks :) And yes, you're right, it's a 8.8" sensor panel used in conjunction with AIDA64, for monitoring. Connects to USB for power and HDMI for video. Though, you also get USB-only models too but they have their own Chinese software to control them.

    The "Everyday" show-off thread !

Yes, in aware, but I'm using it in a room that has low ambient so I'm seeing minimal impact on performance (I've tested). I wanted to ensure i get the view better of the fan w/o purchasing reverse UniFans.

Looking to buy an RC car for around 6K - any suggestions?

Last I checked, India was still pretty lousy at getting a decent and affordable RC cars. I had been looking for ages but ended up buying one from Dragon Mall in Dubai during my holiday in 2019. If you have friends in the UAE, you can consider asking them to buy you one. They are chinese but...

CPU/Mobo Why are there different gaps in between the slots of RAM modules ?

As mentioned above, the gaps on the slots are identical. It's not a board issue, it's the modules. Haven't tried with the fear of damaging the PCB.

CPU/Mobo Why are there different gaps in between the slots of RAM modules ?

I think you have missed my point. Adding a picture to explain/clarify. See the gaps, they are 3 different sizes. That is my concern, not the fact that there are gaps.

CPU/Mobo Why are there different gaps in between the slots of RAM modules ?

I guess you have a point, if they are spaced exactly but the top portion tilt/lean to each other to different extents, it could cause the issue in question.

CPU/Mobo Why are there different gaps in between the slots of RAM modules ?

The slots look to be symmetrical, just the heatsinks appear to have small margins of error. Also, see pic, from Reddit, the gaps between module 1&2 and 2&3 and 3&4 are all different No mate, I was more talking about when all 4 slots are populated.

CPU/Mobo Why are there different gaps in between the slots of RAM modules ?

Hi all, Have any of you also noticed this? As someone who like symmetry, my OCD kicks in. The below is not my PC but mine has a similar issue. I was able to improve the gaps by swapping modules left to right etc but it still isn't 100% symmetrical. Does this annoy any of you folks too? Cheers!

Thanks , all! @belictony - Want to avoid the hassle until i am sure it is a virus/malware. But yes, that's on the list as its simpler, but a hassle. @Mr.J - Apart from task scheduled, is there a definitive way to see what's calling/triggering the PowerShell to execute?

Windows Powershell causing 99% CPU n RAM utilization

Hi all, My NUC7 (i3 and 4GB RAM) has started to freezing cause due to the poweshell services eating away at system resources. It's a relatively fresh install and is on a 250gb NVME drive. I've run DISM, SFC, CC Cleaner, MRT and no issues have been found. Windows updates appear to be up to...

How does steering wheel use in games (eg: Logitech G29/923) compare to actual car driving in real life?

It purely depends on how much you spend. The entry level ones will give you a good experience but not the real feel. If you spend on really high end stuff from Fanatic and the likes, those will get you pretty damn close. In fact, F1 drivers practice on these kind of rigs. Also, you get rigs...

Cannot recommend this enough, 'Line of Duty', it's a BBC show. Absolutely brilliant. Not too well known/popular in India, but give it a shot and thank me later.
