I think they come with 3 years warranty. Besides, one can get the drive RMAed and get a sata 3 drive. And added 2+ years warranty as compared to what you get on sandisk or Kingston...
 
I have a 80gb Intel x25 m working perfectly fine since 5plus years. Havent faced any issues till date. AFAIK HDD failure HDD rate is higher than an ssd.
