CPU/Mobo 3200 MHz and above RAM for Ryzen 1600X + x370 - will it work?

I have a Ryzen 5 1600x and Asus Prime x370 Pro motherboard with 16 GB (8 * 2) of Gskill FlareX 2400 Mhz Ram.
I would like to upgrade to 32 GB of RAM.

Should I go for 3200 Mhz RAM? (16 * 2) The QVL list is pretty small for 3200 Mhz. But there is a "scan system" option on Crucials website, which states that 3200 Mhz and even 3600 Mhz would work on my x370 board.
The 3600 Mhz RAM is around 17% more expensive.

Interested to know if anyone has tried these speeds on Ryzen gen 1
Thanks

I used to a run 3200 MHz CL14 on my Ryzen 1700X and I am using the same kit with Zen 2 now.

3600 MHz on Zen 1 might be a tad difficult as the memory controller is on the CPU itself and Zen 2 might run on that board at 3600 MHz.

Don't go by compatibility checks on Crucial website. You have to check by the QVL and forum posts for RAM kits that work for your specific mobo.

So I got the Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz kit even though its not mentioned on the mobo QVL list. Its working fine.
And while I had both the 2400 and the 3200 MHz kits with me, did some benchmarks. If interested, you can check here.

Those letters are not there in the SKU, however thaiphoon burner reports it as 8 Gb E-die (Z11B / 19 nm) / 1 die

Got another question though, Crucial told me, this series BL16G32C16U4R should have single rank organization (Infact they say all their new RAM have single rank), however mine is reported as 2048M x64 (2 ranks) .
Not sure why the discrepancy, I have asked them twice, but they always say its single rank.
Finally, I posted to Crucial on twitter, but they didn't reply.

The Ballistix RAM cost me £148 here in the UK. I did head some news about power supplies being out of stock, but looks like even RAM is in short supply.
