Less than 10K A basic phone with nice music quality

I was looking around for sub 10k phone for basic purpose. I was confused with all the entry level smartphone things.
Would like to get suggestion for phones. I don't have preference for any brand but would like to have quality music on the go :). I used my old SE C510 with modded acoustic drivers for same.

If you are looking at audiophile standards, I think a Captivate/Vibrant is almost silver standard with a good DAC. If you need decent music, take your pick from Sony/Samsung/etc.

If you are looking at the Lumia 520 - I think you should not, since there are no separate music and notification volume levels, but still want one, then the 525 is going to come with some minor music enhancements.

I was thinking for going for Sony...though I have had experienced some beat series samsung phone ...they were nice. Where would I get some price quote for vibrant/captivate? I would really have them into cosideration too. As for lumia 520 ...I really trying to avoid it.
