Questions

1. What is your budget?

o 40K. I can extend an another 10K to the budget.

2. What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)

o None

3. Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)

o None

4. Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.

o CPU (Is it better to go for RYZEN or even feasible with the given budget.)

o Motherboard

o GPU

o RAM

o Monitor

o PSU

o Cabinet

5. Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component

o I will not be upgrading for 3-4 years

6. Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)

Get these:

AMD Ryzen R5 1400 - 12.5K
Asus Prime B350M-A - 7K
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 2400MHZ - 4.5K
WD Blue 1TB - 3.5K
Antec VP500PC - 3K
Antec GX200 - 3K
Logitech MK200 - 0.8K
Dell SE2216H - 7K
GTX 1050 Ti - 11.5K

For a truly entry level 1080p gaming card though something like RX 570 is bare minimum, and it retails for 15K. If you're able to extend your budget, that'd be a great choice.

There would be few sales happening next week on Amazon/Flipkart. Grab some components from there if possible.

Zotac GTX 1060 3gb- 16K
get a 1060, and you will be able to run most present and many upcoming games maxed out
Gigabyte H110M - 4k
i5 6500 -13K
8gb DDR4 - 4K
WD blue 1tb HDD- 3.5K
PC case - 1.5K
masterwatt Lite 500w - 3.5k

around 40K, you can get a WD blue SSD for around 3.5K, ryzen for 3K extra, and a Logitech G102, Steelseries QCK For around 2K for multiplayer gaming.

1)can you increase your budget more ? around how much 7-8k ?

2) if not then can you wait 3 months for cheaper Ryzen 3 processors to launch ?

3) if not then here is the best VFM "Durable" gaming rig possible in your budget
(assuming you don't want to change/upgrade any part till next 3-4 years and don't want to buy used stuff )

Monitor - LG 22MP68VQ-P Freesync- - 9,000 ( don't choose any other monitor , very imp )
PSU - Seasonic SI2II 520w - 5,500
GPU - Sapphire pulse Rx 570 - 15,000 ( and choose only AMD because of Freesync )

CPU - Pentium G4560 - 4,500 ( The Mobo needs BIOS update to support cpu )
Motherboard - Gigabyte H110m DS2 - 4,200
Case - 3,000
Ram Corsair Vengance 2400mhz 8gb - 4,300
HDD -1tb WD - 3,500
KB/M - 800

This comes to Rs 50,000

yes available offline , but if you buy ryzen then you will not be able to fit a better gpu ..
check above reply

Actually i am lookin at this build.

AMD Ryzen R5 1600 -
Asus Prime B350M-A - 7K
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 2400MHZ -
WD Blue 1TB -
Antec VP500PC -
Antec GX200 -
Dell SE2216H -
MSI Geforce GTX 1060 3GB GDDR5 DirectX 12 VR Ready (GeForce GTX 1060 3GT OC)

Now, one noob question. Can i build my rig without GPU and later on add GPU (which i thought is feasible in Intel Chips. Is it possible with AMD chips) ?

nope , you will need a gpu to get display with ryzen as it does not have integrated gpu..

with 1060 3gb , rx 570 like gpu , you will be most of the times gpu bottlenecked.. so processor will make less of a difference than a better gpu.. only a few games will benefit from a faster cpu .. ( G4560 + Rx 570 )is better than ( i5 7400 + Gtx 1050ti )

Pentium G4560 is actually a Core i3 processor performance wise.. don't go by the name

for maximum gaming performance right now.. g4560 + rx 570 is the best budget and bang for Buck combo... plus combine it with freesync monitor and you will be able to play games smoothly even at 40-45 fps...

read more about FREESYNC .. don't miss it

if you want to invest more money in CPU for future proofing , then Buying an intel i5 right now isn't good, because it isn't future proof with only 4c/4t ..

so within the limited budget either build your rig around Ryzen 5 for cpu longevity with a cheaper gpu.. ( lower gaming performance ) or go with G4560+ Rx 570 ( more gaming performance , less CPU longevity but also cheaper)

and don't use that psu. it is of Lower quality...

either choose Antec vp550p @4k ( 2 year warranty .. medium quality )
or Seasonic s12 520w...@5.5k ( higher quality 5 year warranty )

Nope, sadly Ryzen CPU doesn't have support for on-board graphics. If you're tight on budget at the moment, then get a cheap used card for the purpose of display output.

Also, don't take the 1060 3GB variant. Stick with RX 570 4GB at ~15K.

Actually i am lookin at the longevity rather than Gaming performance for now. So what is the cheapest GPU i can get so that my Ryzen can work. Even second hand is fine. And thanks for all the info man.. :)

psu - seasonic s12 520 - 5.5k
case - antec gx 200/ Corsair SPEC 1 - 3k
ram- Corsair 8gb 4.5k
mobo- Asus B350 plus - 8k
cpu- ryzen 1600,- 16k
monitor - LG 22mp68vq-p -9k
hdd 1tb - 3.5k
kb M - 800

pick cheapeast 2nd hand gpu with hdmi port for rs 1000-1500

Go for RX 570 instead of 1060 3GB it a much better option.
I can also get u some good deals on RAM GPU AND SSD if u need u can drop me a ping for the same.

also if u are going for the 1600 chip dont save the 500 and settle for a shitty board since that one is low end and barely gets the updates on time also.
Go for Gigabyte Gaming 3 its the best B350 in the market.
1600 + RX 570 u should be able to play any latest game at ultra 50 60 fps easy.

if u just want a ryzen to work even 2k GPU will do

low budget GTX 1050ti is good but not a great value since 2k odd more u get 570 which is a much better option.

if you need a quote and budget on whole build also u can drop me a pm and if u are from bangalore i can even build it for you.

Get a GT710 or something like that for 2K. Or if you can source a used card, anything like GTX 750 Ti which are going for like 5K ish would be great for casual gaming too.
