Dunno if most know, but 11-11 ie today Aliexpress and other chinese sites hold some great deals

Anyone purchasing anything from there?

i only have rs 3000 in virtual credit card.

^ u already bought! I have spare Alix 2 port box with WiFi card + flash memory card with pfsense loaded. I've moved to ubiquity thus this has been lying idle since 10 days.
 
in aliexpress you need to check the seller reputation. for how many years he has been selling.
plus customer reviews and rating for the products.
if anything wrong happens then you can file a dispute, for which adequate time is given.
 
^ Used the ram lying around and running it on nanoBSD edition with a pen drive. Working flawlessly. Got the Sandisk msata from prime and will be shifting to the same tonite.

BTW - this is running in my office.
 
If seller ships package via DHL or UPS, does it attracts customs charges? I am planning to purchase Redmi Pro Prime @ 14k on aliexpress.
 
^ Yes. Also, handling charges of 500 INR are also levied. In return, you can be almost sure that you will get the parcel in proper condition and no issues with customs.

If there is an alternative, you can take it, but I do not know if you will escape the customs.
