When I woke up just after dawn on September 28, 1928, I certainly didn't plan to revolutionise all medicine by discovering the world's first antibiotic, or bacteria killer. But I suppose that was exactly what I did.
— Alexander Fleming[12]

Fleming grew the mould in a pure culture and found that it produced a substance that killed a number of disease-causing bacteria. He identified the mould as being from the Penicillium genus, and, after some months of calling it "mould juice", named the substance it released penicillin on 7 March 1929.[15]

No where Feb 14, 1929 is mentioned on that page.

Quinine was isolated / discovered in 1820

Paracetamol was discovered in 1877.

History channel is not a good source because they did not say where they got that date from. Did they pull that exact date out of thin air? No sources so not valid. At least wikipedia has given few sources to journals for the claim.

If you don't believe wikipedia, then how about the American Chemical Society? No source can be better than this.
Search the page and show me where February 14th is mentioned.
