Darky must admit you have come a long way.One of the crispiest review.

I havent read it all but will surely do as i am eagerly awaiting for BZ platform.

But i must admit .while reading its almost looks like a review of a very professional site just like anandtech or tomshardware.

Keep up the good work.

Nice review Darky, a few corrections if I may:

1. I think you mean 'significant' when you say 'incremental' in a few places in the review. The former means huge, the second means tiny. Just like all salaried folks know each year.

2. The difference in CPU performance - was the 'Phenom II X4' an unlocked X2 550 running at its default speed of 3.1G, or did you downclock it to match the A3850? that would be a better indicator of performance, I'm guessing...

3. I'm really nit'pic'ing, but those IO ports are not really visible to me. Or maybe I'm just old :D

Good show, looks pretty professional as far as reviews go :)

1. yes I do mean significant.

2. It was running at the default 3.1ghz, since the Asus MB kept on increasing the clock by 3 Bclk (3.0ghz), I ran the test at default speed for Phenom II.

3. Well due to lack of decent cam the pic came out bad. Plus I had very little time for taking the pics, friend kept on bothering me for the cam. Check this for a better reference,

Will change right away.

Just an update guys. The E2 series of APU is a part of Lynx platform not the Brazos platform. Its been confirmed by a newly leaked slide from AMD.

Earlier the slide was quite perplexing so E2 was resembling a product of Brazos platform rather than Lynx.

^^No idea as of now. Hp and many other have release Llano based notbooks. Will check with local HP store.

BTW Asus has launched a Llano based laptop for Asian market. Perhaps someone from Asus can confirm if its available locally or not .

^^Overclocking first. Don't have the necessary components for Dual Graphics as of now (Radeon 6670)
