Less than 10K Android Phone for 3.5k is Lava Iris 352e suitable ?

Last time in October-I posted a requirement for an Android Phone for my nephew for 3 k- was well advised to purchase a Alcatel Glory- However now my niece is wanting a similar phone her budget is 3.5k--on paper the Lava Iris 352e with a 3.5inch display- dual core processor- with 256 mb RAM- but with twin cameras and running Android 4.2 at 3.7k from Flipkart seems viable..Requirement is Net plus whatsapp.
need guidance..in this matter i could perhaps even get a lower price of about 3.3k with coupon code.

I think any android phone should at least have 512 ram to even perform two tasks simultaneously. And I think your niece is going to use more than 2 apps (Whatsapp, FB, Internet and more).

Never give a laggy phone to an impatient teen! :p
