Apple iPhone 5 is facing some issues in which the color is chipping off the edges , sometimes even right out of the box .
The iPhone 5 , especially the Black color version is being reported to be getting dents and scratches along the chamfered edges easily . The White version is also noticed to have same issue .
Recently Android Authority did a drop test , pitting the iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S III . The iPhone 5 did well in the drop test and the screen didn't break , while the Galaxy S III got cracked along the screen . In the drop test , the edges of the iPhone 5 got scratched and color chipped off like in the issue reported by owners .
