Yes it should, I used up my 10+ year of Arctic Silver 5 before getting MX4 and it worked as well as Day 1.

As long as it is not dry, it should be fine.
Sometimes, if the cap of the syringe is not closed properly little bit of paste gets dry. But even in that case just take out the dry part and use the rest.
 
If it was stored properly it should work as like new.
Tims don't degrade but still while applying, simply squeeze few mm and use the later which will appear soft and mushy..
