Asus RT-N13U disconnecting from the internet every few hours

Having major issued with the RT-N13U where it just disconnects from the internet every few hours (Laptops / Phones) are connected
to the router. Even for the desktop, ever time I switch it on I need to restart the router. Is there any solution to this (Have tried all Stock Asus firmwares
including the latest beta). Should I just RMA it or would installing DD-WRT be a better option?
 
Has this always been an issue or has it started recently? If its the latter, then it doesn't sound like a firmware issue.

What sort of internet connection is this?
