Your AWS account 123456789012 was registered with an Indian contact address. In the coming weeks, Amazon Web Services, Inc. accounts with Indian contact addresses will be switched to an India-based service provider called Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL). No action is required from you, and there will be no AWS service downtime or interruption, and no change to the data you store with AWS, because of this switch. You will soon receive a notice with additional information and a timeline for the switch.

We’re making this switch to make it easier for India-based customers to use AWS. After the switch, you can pay for your AWS services in Indian Rupees (INR), minimizing or eliminating foreign transaction fees charged by banks and credit cards for conversions to U.S. Dollars (USD). AISPL will also assess, collect, and remit certain Indian taxes during invoicing.
Therefore, if you were self-assessing and remitting these taxes separately, you will no longer need to do this after the switch.

After your account is switched to AISPL, by continuing to use any AWS service offerings, you agree that the AISPL Customer Agreement will replace your current agreement with Amazon Web Services, Inc.
