BJP can do course correction.. Here it is..

About time we put out our side of the story. The Paks are on over drive painting us out to be human rights violators. Demonstrating outside our embassies, attacking them even.

We change the narrative from HR abuses to development :)

$40 bn thrown into that place over the last 15 years with little to show for. This govt thought differently fortunately and we can expect things to get better from now on.

I love how things have flipped.

We are pro-active they are reactive.

We say the only thing we will talk about is PO J&K. So now we play the Kashmir card on them.

All their efforts at getting international support have fallen flat even the Chinese could not do much more than token gestures.

Modi getting highest civilian award in the UAE, Bahrain & Saudis only shows the influence we have gained in the middle east at their cost.

And the best part is there is more to come :)

Religious dictatorships awarding the leader of future religious dictatorship.
Skewers the minorities are being oppressed narrative. People here didn't see the optics when MBS comes over and hugs Modi.

Pak expectation of support on the basis of religion belied. The Arabs know we are growing and where their future lies.

Waiting for GDP to drop to 0%.
You don't think the consolidation of this country matters ?

There is no longer this one country two systems nonsense. This colonial hangover is history.

Disputed territory becomes bilateral dispute and finally internal matter :D

Brilliant! Paks will have to change their school books now.

No, Kashmir is no longer a part of Pakistan and watch out for PO J&K. We want it back.

This along with Pandita articles shows how the state assisted the separatists and left its supporters to fend for themselves.

Journalists visiting J&K last month found people did not want to be on camera. Because they're still not sure whether the same regime will be back again.

But the Paks know the game is well & truly up.

It took five years for Amit Shah to plan this, and two thirds majority in both houses to fix this mess.

Thirty years later they can finally try him for killing four IAF personnel.

Car sales crash have more to do with high prices on mediocre quality cars with high GST on them, no place for parking, bad roads, heavy peak time congestion, high petrol prices, and other factors like pollution and a saturation in sales than a slowdown. Most people buying new cars were already in the middle income or higher income brackets getting higher salaries than the average person. Such people already bought cars long time back and don't have space to get new cars etc. People wanting to buy cars look at the bad roads and pollution and lack of infrastructure and don't buy.

In a way it is nice that car sales have come down. This will give a reality check to car manufacturers to get their vehicle quality higher and start thinking about electric cars seriously. Indian car manufacturers have always been slow to react and quick to blame everything for their losses.

So why truck sales are down ?

It's not just car sales but virtually every manufacturing industry that is slowing down. The govt. was in denial for so long (and still is) so i don't expect the situation to change any time soon.
Even with the new subdued figures, we did better during the global recession period.

Its not about cars or automobiles in general, even though they are the worst affected. There is a slowdown in sales of essential items including undergarments and even biscuits. That shows that majority of the population does not have enough cash on hand to make even the basic purchases.

For auto sector, I agree, they won't be seeing that level of demand in the near future.

don't know. may be GST implementation that killed a lot of small scale industries could have been one factor. Another factor could be diesel subsidy being withdrawn eating into their profits. I remember truckers always going on strike since Congress days for getting better subsidy from govt. These guys were already in loss since decades. Maybe GST was the last straw that broke their back.

Edit: Not GST, I meant the currency demonetization. But that was years back. So maybe we are seeing fallback of it.

Thinking about this even more, must be lot other factors like rising inflation and other things.
