You need a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch hex nipple. Install that directly into your ball valve outlet instead of the 1/2 inch hex nipple that's installed right now.

Did i mention i like this review a lot :)

Old school text and photos always does it over video

What is it. Imagination. Reader gets to use it more with a written review than a video.

The written word is way more powerful than the spoken one.

Did they not have a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch hex nipple. It would have made this setup a bit shorter.

@Rockfella
I agree with @rdst_1, this connection can be made shorter and cleaner if you are willing to replace a couple of components.

Is the pipe coming from outside and into the kitchen or the main connection is within the wall? If it's the latter, then an angle cock would make the connection simpler and cleaner. No need of that valve too as angle cock itself comes with valve.

Hmm I could not fine tune this. Stuff you and rdst mentioned were a bit hard to find. I was in a hurry too.[DOUBLEPOST=1553392471][/DOUBLEPOST]

Don't worry. Even mine looks like a mess and I will surely change it when I find the components I am looking for next week when I go to Chandigarh. It's difficult to find the exact components here in my small town. Mine will get converted into just 2 components because my delivery pipe is already 3/4 inch. So I'll just get a discrete 3/4 inch ball valve which you have shown above in one of the pictures and a hex nipple.

Edit - Found this ball valve on Banggood that will totally replace the whole contraption I have with a single piece. Since my water pipes are already 3/4 inch, all I need is this 3/4 inch ball valve which has male threads on one side and femal threads on the other side. If you have 1/2 inch water pipes you buy a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch reducing socket/elbow and a 3/4 inch ball valve with both male ends.

Could you find something like this on Ali Express?
EDIT: Now I know why you choose this one :)

What is the regular mode of the washer? My mom is hell bent on using the quick mode with drying on. This results in total wash time of around 45 mins but I think this mode is suited in the long run for regular washed. Some utensils come out unclean.

My mom is the same. But so far we have been having no issues with the quick mode. I would suggest the Auto mode though, but no one can deal with Mom logic and since it's her kitchen, I tend to stay out of the argument. She does rinse out the heavily stained utensils before putting them in though, so maybe that's why the quick mode works for us. Also because of our low utensil usage (we are only 2 people at the house), our wash timings generally don't require the need of dry utensils urgently, so don't feel the need to waste electricity on that.

Ordered the Bosch Detergent and rinse aid today.
Expected it to superior or on par with finish.

Guess what?, I got a rebadged Fortune product instead. Shame on you Bosch india, for selling rebadged items at double the cost.

They are manufactured by Excel rasayan, makers of Fortune dishwasher detergent.

It is okay. Same company makes same stuff with different names for different brands :)
