Hows the keyboard on this? & battery life?
Keyboard is otherwise very nice. The only issue which I faced was that the "Fn" key was placed where the left "CTRL" is usually placed in a desktop keyboard. But I guess it will become okay with continous use. Honestly didnt have the chance to run it on battery for too long but apparantly it seems that it ran for than 1 hour yesterday on battery.

Just add another 2GB of RAM and win7 will be lot more faster.
That is precisely the idea.

I'm so not sure with that comment as my u330 has 2gb same ram and windows7 is working really fast. If the maximum usage like mine is firefox, instant messenging ..then I think 2gb is fine :D

although as old saying goes "rams are never an overkill" so i'll upgrading with 1gb ddr3 ram too :p

Congo buddy on ur lappy purchase.

Thanks a lot buddy.

Yes I happen to agree with you. It's not going to make so much difference with real world apps. I compared the boot times of my desktop and laptop and found that the laptop is a lot faster than the desktop during booting. And I don't see much of a difference in normal usage. Having said that I shall add another 2GB DDR3 stick whenever I feel that's required.

This one was not bought with the idea of gaming. I've got a Desktop for all that. This one's just for work and internet & sometimes music and movies.

Centrino is a platform-marketing initiative from Intel. It is not a mobile CPU - rather, the term covers a particular combination of mainboard chipset, mobile CPU and wireless network interface in the design of a laptop. Intel claims systems equipped with these technologies deliver better performance, longer battery life and broad wireless network interoperability.

In other words when Intel is the vendor for CPU, the motherboard & the wireless card it's together called "Centrino"
