OC & Modding [build log] - toxicdrift builds a skylake itx rig!

It's been a long long time since i build my last pc (sometime in 07/08) - moved onto laptops since 2009 for work and ease of use. In mid 2015 I decided to build my very own mancave, somewhere i could fill all my tech gadgets and the idea of a pc build came to mind for a racing sim based setup, as some of u know I've made some threads regarding which parts to choose and why since some months and now this week i should finally get all of them together and get this done.. very excited and have my fingers crossed.

its been tough this build, sourcing all the parts .. z170 itx boards are basically non existent locally. most of them were sourced during Black Friday and some locally like the cooler master parts. I think its a balanced rig to see me through 2016. and now that im back in the glorious master race.. this thread might be constantly updated aswell. Just want to thank everyone who helped me out in the process :)

beautiful rig buddy... love the shot with all components stacked up ;)
How was your experience with the 380T ? Looks so cramped, the graphics card just barely fits !

yes it is very cramped, and cable management is a b**ch.. but since its open from all sides , cooling is great with the cm silencio's .
the 390x needs all the cooling possible haha

Great looking case there!!

thank you, thats what i got first and then built the whole system round it.

Where'd you source the parts from ?Are you able to close the side panel ?

most of the parts are from the u.s as z170 mini itx boards are non existant locally. only parts that i got locally were the cm cooler + psu + fans + 6700k
yes ofcourse the side panel shuts .. ill click better pictures soon and post them.

Can we have more pics of assembled rig please ?

will do bro, finally everyone posting comments on this thread, lol i thought it went unnoticed hahaha

im using my 40' panasonic 1080p tv currently. Saving up for a ultrawide or a good 27 1440p .. or if i manage to win a lottery then 4k hahaa
