Many of us have relatives, friends, brothers, parents etc..... in US. Most of the electronic items are pretty cheap over there.

I wanted to start this thread during Thanks giving but thought no one is interested.

But seeing some may require basic help and some are having good knowledge on these things I am Posting this thread.

Usefull Websites:

1) Slickdeals.net: The best coupons, deals and bargains to save you money! - Forum which discusses on Deals

2) Deals2buy: Everyday hot deals and coupons

3) Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more

4) Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

5) Best Buy

6) Buy.com - Computers, Electronics, Digital Cameras, Books, DVDs, Music, Games, Software, Toys, Sports

7) DealsVista.com: Deals, Discounts, Coupon Codes, Promotions!

8) Fry's Home Electronics | Computer Parts & Accessories, Software, Games, TVs, Cameras - Frys.com

9) Micro Center - Computers, Electronics, Computer Parts, Networking, Gaming, Software, and more!

10) Bing shopping

11) Google Product Search

12) Dell Coupons, Best Buy Coupons, Discount Cheap Laptops, Computer Sale

13) Video Game Deals & Price Tracker - NowInStock.net

14) Woot : One Day, One Deal (SM), woot.com (woot) on Twitter

I will Polish this thread as time goes by.

Other things to note

1) Most deals which are too good to be true are sure to get expired in a day or less.

2) Laptops and most of the items are not shipped to India.

3) This discussion is to discuss about the deals. If any one's relative or friend is coming from US and they do not have much luggage to carry. Those kind of requests should be better communicated through PM's.

4) One must also understand that most of the times we will not get warranty on such deals unless it is mentioned. As per my experience ASUS is providing 1-2 Years free International warranty.

Gr8 initiative.:hap2:

I have ordered through deals2buy and buy.com ... these are good sites. You can check out the site ratings and reputations from Google.

PS: Google shopping is also a quick and easy way of finding good deals in the US. It is not available for .co.in so switch to .com for google shopping. Cheers !!

Any site specializing on PS3 games (or games) and Blu-ray discs for the best price and reliability? I've been using Amazon till now. Any other pointers will be really helpful. Also, normally what is the shipping charges for shipping those to India? I've been shipping them to friends in USA and then getting them. But this takes lots of time. Any direct shipping information will be helpful. Did got some books before but shipping was bit costly then.

And about the point "1) Most deals which are too good to be true are sure to get expired in a day or less.", well just missed the chance to get Band Of Brothers BD for only 37$ recently during Christmas. Still kicking myself for that. So don't miss it if you see any such deals.

Bing shopping is an awesome service if you can find a decent deal at any of the numerous Cashback stores. I've saved close to 25% on my limited purchases since getting here.
Yup bing is nice too.

And I dont think Gigabyte comes with an international warranty .. if anyone knows otherwise kindly correct me. :p

For video Games (all consoles and PC) try the following two tracker sites :-

1. Video Game Deals & Price Tracker - NowInStock.net

It mostly has amazon prices.

2. Price Tracker - Cheap Ass Gamer

It has most of the prominent vendors.

Happy Shopping
Hey thanks dude. Amazon used to show some deals time to time. Got MGS4 for 19.99 $. Assassin's Creed 2, COD, MW2 and Batman Arkham Asylum was available for 39$ each. But missed them as couldn't find anyone to ship to in US. Now these games are being sold for 50+$

That's what happens usually. They dissapear in an instance. But most of the deals good or bad are comparatively cheaper there.

Hello Konfused

The one of other way of keeping track of items on Amazon & Bestbuy is Mozilla Price Drop Extension which works with firefox.

PriceDrop - track Amazon and Best Buy price drops with a Firefox extension

This will automatically track the prices and notify in case of price drop without actually visiting the amazon or best buy.

One more site which keeps on running some video games deals off and on is

Toysrus.com Home - The Official Toys"R"Us Site - Toys, Games, & More

Keep visiting there.
