C++ mini project topic suggestion

hey,

I've to work on one mini project using C or C++ in this semester. Many students picked up very common topics like Billing system, Hotel management, Banking, ATM Machine software etc. I need something different but compact.

I don't want any help related to Mini project coding, I just need a Topic to be worked on. I'll write code myself. Please get me some good C++ mini project titles :)

I can work well on C++, so any project related to C++ will be good.
 
1. connection hijacker/logger/personal firewall using winsock lsp.
2. small game using ogre sdk/MS xna(sudoku/hangman/tictactoe/tigers and goats other games involving math logic for AI)
3. small search engine like "grep" with regex support.
4. your own torrent tracker :!
 
Apart from the fact that you can work on C, C++ .. what other domains/areas are you interested in ..?

Do you like .. image processing, ..or algorithms, .. or networking ...etc ? what are you inclined to on these lines?
