Can't ping any ip address / website. Request timed out.

Hey guys,

I am trying to ping some BF3 game servers but I get request timed out. I tried pinging other servers and websites like Google.com, yahoo.com etc but I get request timed out. All the websites work well. Even CS:GO servers are normal. It's just that I can not ping any IP address from Command Prompt.

I tried Googling but did not get any solution. What could be the reason?
 
This is odd.

The servers he's pinging aren't private they are public.

Presumably he has been successful in the past. So something changed.
 
Sent an email to ISP support. Waiting for a solution from their side. Nothing's wrong with my computer or router. It seems they have blocked ICMP :-(
 
May be related to the recent mass DDoS attacks ?
Might not be related but engadget.com does not seem to be working from my office network not sure why.

Nope, I am unable to ping any BF3 server since weeks. I thought there might be an issue with BF3 servers. Yesterday, I tried pinging other public networks and found out I can't ping any.d
