Cordless phone buying

Need a cheap and best branded cordless phone with hands free feature

Also what is a DECT phone? What other features I should really looking for when buying?

Panasonic....they may be costlier than the rest but worth every penny..

Dont go for Gigaset...not a single service center in india plus flipkart takes no responsibility for A.S.S.

Base unit works even in powercuts. I would recommend buying from amazon. Lot of options to select from.

Have a panasonic from last 9-10 years and still going strong.
Brilliant build quality and sound clarity is great.

Had a terrible experience with Gigaset cordless phone bought from flopkart. Cordless handset was DOA. Had to followup for a month for refunds. Finally bought panasonic from amazon...peace of mind...great build quality....plus amazon has a no-question-asked return policy...
