^^ there will 15-20 fps gain in ti version definitely worth it..!! Dont get 560 normal version instead you can settle down to hd6850 or hd6870 if you are not into 3d rendering !! Recently they have launched 448 core ti version check on that too but I dont know about the pricing for it though..

Or hold on to your current gpu till the 7series get released..!! I hope 7850 falls in this price tag afaik which is a sweet :)
I cant really wait more. I need to change it asap. Cant let 10fps go like that for 2k only :)

Well it makes a good diff of 10 FPS' or so, but if you're really short on cash, you can drop it :).
I will not drop it if it makes that much difference :)

Do not compromise Gtx560ti for few 'k's,it's worth getting it,you will see the difference with the msi oc gtx560ti in fps about 10%.

I've checked some products at TheITWares and calculated total value including shipping for all config except Monitor, KB and mouse..

Things I'll be getting from TheITWares
Processor : Intel Core i5 2500k - 11.7k
Motherboard : MSI P67A-GD55 P67 [B3] : 9.6k
GPU : MSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II -14.8k
RAM : G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600 - 3.25k
PSU : SeaSonic S12II 620W - 4.6k
Cabinet : NZXT Gamma - 2.1k
Mousepad : CM Storm : Rs. 450
Fans : CM 120mm [Blue LED] x 2 : 0.9k
It costs me Total : 47.5k + Shipping : 1.23k = Rs. 48730 (Get 500 points which I can redeem on CM Fans.) So total will be Rs. 48.33k.. I'll still ask for shipping for all items. I believe some of the products can be packed inside cabby.. :)
Now two things left are Monitor (Dell ST2220L) and Mouse (Logitech G400) which was listed in ITW but they removed it :(

I've got good deal on monitor from SMC International,
Dell ST2220L --Rs 7900 + Shipping Rs 300 = 8.2k

I have found some good deals on Logitech Mouse too..
On eBay dealer listed for Rs. 1699 (free shipping) - Brand New Logitech G400 Gaming Laser Mouse 3 years national Warranty | eBay
Hardwire.in listed it for Rs. 1740 (Everything is overpriced there)
So if I purchase from ITW + SMC + eBay..

Total cost will be : 48.4k + 8.2k + 1.7k = 58.3k

Can get a cheapo Keyboard locally.

If you guys have any better deal, let me know.

^ Yeah, I looked for it almost everywhere.. Letsbuy had it for some 1.3k but it is sold out.. So bad ;-( I could save 300 bucks.

Thanks a lot everyone for helping me to finalize this configuration. Please visit my show off thread after i purchase and receive it :) already have 50k on account now waiting for another 10k from dad. He will give it to me on 13th i guess :p i will order rest of products except monitor.. :) will order monitor on 13th.

Thanks for the suggestion but it seems you haven't read the config decided by some members and me.

The config you have suggested is good but it lacks good PSU, keyboard, mouse, good motherboard. Only plus thing is a processor which is i7..

rahulrulez - good motherboard - ?? DFI is not known to u. Agreed. Sami Maccinen used a DFI LanParty on January 10, 2009 //Las Veags - CES and the rest as they say is history!! ;)
@Good PSU - Sorry I dont agree! :D

@Mouse - Roccat Kova - 2.2k Flipkart / Gigabyte GM6800(like MX 518) - 700/- lynx-india. @KBD - Logitech MK200 - 600/-.

enjoy! ;)

@Rahul -

DFI UT X58 T3EH9 will eat your cheap MSI P67A-GD55 [B3] or Gigabyte/Asus/MSI P67/Z68/990FX or pretty much anything that tickles its fancy alive for breakfast!! :)
Enjoy! :)

Oops - I did not realize uve bought it already - Sorry!!

was just giving my opinion... DFI was THE WORLD's BEST in DESKTOP boards - something like evga is now - Super exotic super costly super performance boards by both companies!!!

MSI P67 is also v. good but X58/X79 chipsets are a class apart from anything else in the world so other boards are unable to compete.

Good buy!1 Enjoy! :)

No i haven't purchased it yet. Are x58 capable of overclocking i5 2500k?

^ dude even though that mobo is as good as he say why are risking if there is no proper service support.. Thats why we are avoiding his or evga brands rather than go for the next best available..

@$$lIoNkInG$$ just want to know who is the distributor for dfi mobo and who is taking care of warranty issue...

ganesh - same guy who s importing rocccat.

rahul - no i5 2500k is not socket compatible with X58. i7 950 is it will reach 4.0G on air on this board.

Somehow, I'm agree with you. I checked some reviews about DFI Lanparty UT X58. But I'm not quite sure if I should buy it or not. As per my knowledge, I found this a great motherboard but having some cons like No USB 3.0, SATA Speed up to 3gb/s only (No 6gb/s ports at all). The build quality is fantabulous but will absense of USB 3.0, Sata 6gb/s effect much?

Regarding MSI P67A-GD55 - Is it not at all good compared to X58? I think I'm not that hardcore OC guy. I will not push the clock speed that much. :)

Though USB 3.0 can be added later, can't say how much SATA 6gb/s will make difference. But see this, anyone buying in this league concentrates more on "performance" than on "features". Now, saying in one line, X58 does goes ahead but only in multi GPU setups, which I think you're not gonna do. Plus there are more points which conclude to the point of sticking to SB-

1) Performance gain in only multi GPU setups.

2) 1366 architecture is going EOL. (expected was Q3,11)

3) CPU performance wise, SB's are way ahead of nehalem.

4) Much more overclockability.

See this-

We already knew that the fastest processor available for the P67 platform offered better performance than the fastest processor available for X58 in games, but the winning CPU can also hit higher clock speeds by virtue of the 32 nm process used to manufacture it, too. We also knew that the newer Sandy Bridge architecture is faster at the same frequency than its quad-core predecessors based on the Nehalem design. The overclock we used today should have diminished CPU bottlenecks, though.

All things being equal, the P67 platform should lose any triple-GPU gaming test due to its limited PCIe pathways compared to X58. Then again, all things are never equal. If nothing else, the settings we used to overclock the X58 platform’s processor might even be considered cheating in its favor. After all, we used a 200 MHz base clock compared to the competing platform’s 100 MHz base clock, and gave the X58 platform 2 GB more memory to enable its triple-channel function. We even encumbered our P67-compatible processor with an artificially-low overclock (compared to what we know it's capable of running at), just to keep it within the limits of its elder competitor.

Even though our attempts to make both platforms equal gives LGA 1366 an even greater bandwidth advantage, LGA 1155 still wins. Were we to remove the artificially-low O/C limit imposed upon our P67 platforms and run them at the 4.4 or 4.5 GHz we know they'll take, it would simply win by an even greater margin. And if that reasoning isn’t enough to negate the newer platform’s PCIe limits in the eyes of extreme gaming enthusiasts, adding Nvidia’s NF200 to LGA 1155 enables X58-style x16-x8-x8 connections.

While the NF200 doesn’t completely solve the dearth of PCIe lanes available on LGA 1155 platforms, its ability to send identical data to multiple cards makes it perfect for SLI and CrossFire. That benefit, when combined with the Sandy Bridge processor’s superior performance and overclocking capabilities, slams the lid on the coffin for X58 gaming. Anyone who needs the added flexibility of X58 to host other devices, such as high-end drive controllers or six-core processors in a workstation environment, must bow to the gaming superiority of NF200-equiped Sandy Bridge motherboards like Asus' P8P67 WS Revolution.

Rahul, 4.0Ghz is nothing if you start overclocking. :) Tell me, if you're investing so much money in a system, plus you increased your budget by 10k just for upgrade of mobo for the sake of overclocking capability, whats the point sticking behind 4Ghz ?

Also do consider Z68 instead of P67. Quick sync is not far away. :)

Hope you're not confused this time :eek:hyeah:

Jugga - dude.... SB performance doesnt scale as well with clocks as with LGA1366 Even with higher IPC SB isnt able to beat the big daddy 1366 socket.

i7 950 is at par with i5 2500 which has a higher IPC and clock speed both. So if u say OCability - 4.0GHz Nehalem will beat 4.3GHz SB easily coz with Nehalem ur increasing BClk not CPU Ratio.

So basically -

1. 1366 has better performance.

2. 1366 is a better platform too.

3. About EOL?? - Dude, If you buy an EOL Ferrari... its still a Ferrari.

It still performs extremely well, why not to buy EOL platform - Its even better at this time its cheaper! :p :D

@Rahul - You can add USB3.0 functionality later for about 750/- to any board also SATA III 6.0GB/s is not the kind of feature that shud be a deciding factor. All those good speeds you see with SATA 6 GB/s are only "burst rates" - they dont count.

You can very well go for DFI UT X58.

@MSI - Yeah, MSI quality is shaky - go for Asus or Gigabyte if u want to go for Z68/P67.
