@Anish: On the way it is sir! By month end, this will have 12GB RAM and a 2TB FW800 HDD to hold all the crap - the internal single HDD is a huuuge limitation for performance. :(

I'd ideally plonk a SSD + 2TB HDD inside it, but its not worth the disassembly risk.

Sounds good.. What FW drive are you planning to use? Macs don't play too well with external hardrives in casings. So avoid going the casing route.
