^neville, interested in that sata-eSATA cable. It connects an internal SATA port to the header on the backplate, correct?

It connects a sata HDD to Esata port.

Its is useful when you have a sata enclosure or you want to keep your HDD outside

Note : You need to have an Esata port already to use this

Can it be used to connect a eSATA drive to a SATA port on mobo? If yes then i'm interested :)

Ok, I have an eSATA port on the motherboard. So how does the eSATA port connect to the motherboard?

No idea whether it will be compatible with the enclosure...

I think enclosures have eSATA port... (I maybe wrong, neva used a eSATA enclosure)

I think you need a eSATA-eSATA cable (a cable with eSATA connectors at both ends)

^Ok, will contact you later. I'm out for now, if it's still with you over the weekend, which is when I'm going to check the enclosures out, I will contact you.

Cheers, and sorry for the trouble.
