AMD FX-8350 - "Piledriver" for AMD Socket AM3+ Review | techPowerUp

Fx 8150 available for 11.5k+ on theitwares hence sure fx 8350 would be much more expensive almost close to 3570k price.
In specs nowhere close to 3570k and also tdp is quite high.

Amd is worth buy (above 6k it starts suffering)in 3-8k buy range with APU config above that it still losses.

sorry for late reply , i was not in town .
Well congrats for the monitor .
And when are you going to buy a new system ?

thanks for the monitor!!!
having second thoughts on system config: maybe will scale down for a locked processor CPU system capable of running windows 8 smoothly and latest games !!!
any suggestions?

Frankly going for a locked processor is also not a bad choice , currently am using my processor at stock settings only and nothing is able to max it out , it handles every thing with supreme ease .
Also as I said , 3570k is a white elephant , will need a cooler , good cabinet again for cooling etc . For a locked proccy , you can compromise on things .
What is your budget for processor ? . It will depend on that . I guess even the cheapest i5 ivy bridge will be nice .
But I leave it on @ALPHA17 brother to suggest , am not in touch with things from some time now , so not aware of latest developments .
But only thing i suggest is go for an i5 , not i3 , but if your budget is less , i3 is also good .

The HD7850 is better in GPGPU Computing and overclocking than GTX660Ti,If you're not going to overclock then @Stock GTX660Ti is better but HD7850 can give you better results after overclocking.
HI Guys,

Just curious to ask. Isn't GTX660 is better than Sapphire HD7850???

Thanks @Jakob,

But I was talking about GTX660 and not 660Ti (I believe both are different GPU's and have different cost - 660 & 660TI)
