If i am going for a k processor would i require a cpu cooler?Any suggestions

Yeah! My bad. Forgot to add it.
The K processors don't come with any cooler or heat sink.
Go for Cooler Master Hyper 212X- 3k
A cheaper option will be Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2 - 1340INR @amazon.in

My 4690k came with a intel stock cooler.. Is it the case with the newer 6th gen processors?

only k series (overclocking ones) 6th gen cpu doesn't come with cpu cooler,
rest comes with Cooler in box.[DOUBLEPOST=1477635758][/DOUBLEPOST]only k series (overclocking ones) 6th gen cpu doesn't come with cpu cooler,

Yeah with the 6th gen processors, Intel has stopped shipping the stock cooler and heat sink.
