I will say it depends completely on personal preference if someone want to game on a big screen then he will get a large screen monitor or a HDTV & If he is interested in saving some bucks now by buying a small screen & investing it later when large 3D screens becomes affordable

Don't forget 1 thing the 27 inch or above monitors don't have much sale(only professionals use them) so in the future too chances of becoming affordable is less (gamers mostly game on a 24 inch monitor or a big screen HDTV more)

Cheers

Thanks for the info...But i dont think he will notice the difference..Might think of a good mouse but not spending too much on them

ya investing in a good PSU is fully worth it because it will simply extend your rigs life & cover future upgrades too

Cheers

Which PSU for 6k are you looking at? Please mention the model, not the price.
The S12II 620W is not 6k.

Dont get this.
The Crucial M4 is much better.

No future updates planned for a long time...Please let me know best PSU for 6850/6870

Well in that case you can check out these mice --

LOGITECH G300 ~1300/-

LOGITECH G400 ~1500/-

The best SMPS keeping that and the future in mind, is the Seasonic S12II 520W ~3800/-.

A good 24" monitor that is available in the market -- BenQ E2420HD ~11900/-.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!!

Thanks will check it out....otherwise Logitech mx518 would b my choice....

Seasonic s12II is just perfect for me :)
Benq monitor also looks perfect...

Thanks will check it out. Otherwise Logitech mx518 would b my choice.

The LOGITECH MX518 has been phased out of the market, in place the aforementioned [G300 and G400] have been put into place.

The LOGITECH G300 is a spiritual successor and diverges from the earlier concept in the following ways --
  • it has buttons, hefty onboard memory for storing upto 3 macro settings;
  • ambidextrous layout vis-a-vis right handed bias;
  • compact size, pointing towards Finger-tip Grip OR Claw Grip style.*

*For more on grip styles, read this article by Razer.

Whilst the LOGITECH G400 is a direct descendant of the MX518 --
  • keeps the original design.
  • updated sensor ~3600dpi;
  • improves on the build-quality and material used.
  • rest all same-same and oriented towards Palm Grip uers.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!!
