Guys, is there something like a VGA to Composite (Red, White and Yellow) Pins converter...??
Id love to have something like that so i can use my 6" Screen which is lying around.
Is there any other way i can mod it to work?
Im excited to do something liddat now :D :eek:hyeah:
 
The red, white, cable is a AV set with one composite video cable, and the other two for stereo audio. If your gfx card has a TV out, you could connect your screen through composite cable.
No idea about vga -> composite cable. I doubt such a thing exists.
 
Nyup....The regular Analog Vide in's have a composite sync unlike the separate V-sync and H-sync on VGA output....you'll need a converter circuit to do that for you.....
 
Well my card has a S-Video out.

And i know for a fact that a s-Video to composite cable exists... right?

Or atleast the converter.

Ill get to this modding right now :eek:hyeah:

Just gotta take a bath first :|.

Ok new problem.

The Cable which comes with the Screen only goes in the DVD player it came with.

Im posting a pic as soon as my servant gets some Batteries. So i can use my Digicam.

So now i have to put the darn DVD Player in the middle and use it's AV In.

Which is the 3 Composite cable's.

Ok, ATi to the rescue. Now i found my s-video to Composite out. So resumed modding :eek:hyeah:

OK...I was able to scrap these images b4 my Batteries died...

First on is the Screen the DVD Player

2nd is the Screens input and settings buttons

3rd is the back of the DVD Player input.

Sorry did them in a hurry so didnt resize it properly... My bad...





 
I don't really get the issue here...As far as I can see, ur dvd player des have a RCA A/V out

And ur screen does have a RCA A/V in

so what is the isuue here?

SOme more calrity on what the exact issue is would help us troubleshoot this better
 
Nothing Really. ThE LCD Monitor's COnnector only goes into the DVD Player. So i had to use the DVD Player as a Medium in the middle.

Check out a few pics..So that i dont keep you in the Dark... I will resume this Modding tomoro.

LOL doesnt your Hyundai 19" LCD have a DVI port? Why is it connected via VGA? There's a huge diff in image quality and sharpness.
 
Nope. It doesnt have a DVI port :(.

Thus its in the VGA.

@ Anish... The purpose of this mod is playing CS while still being able to control Windows :p.

Also to showoff that your Case has a LCD Screen :p.
 
Eh... No lol.. Not mod the connector. I got the convertor.

Im putting the LCD in my Case, so that i can control WMP or Winamp and Also monitor Temp's.

you mean the cabinet, what do you mean by control winamp from lcd :(

as all here seem to be confused on your intentions, can you just tell clearly(layman's lang for me)on what you want to do.
 
Guys can we get these small lcd screens in Mumbai also having S-video or composite video as inputs.

Also what can be the approx cost.

Looks like fun to have a small lcd monitor on ur desktop.
