Graphic Cards Graphics card for light gaming

Need a graphics card for light gaming. My config is AMD X2 3800+, Asus M2NMX, 2 GB Ram, CM 450W PSU. I will be playing racing games that are at least 3 year old. No latest games. My budget is 3K. The card must have HDMI and DVI outputs.

Any suggestions?

Asus GT210 can be bought for 3k if it is still available in the markets.

Get HD 6670 DDR3 1GB at least. Others are nothing than CRAP! If your budget does not allow then wait for some time and manage some money. HD 6670 DDR5 would be great choice.

HD 7750 1GB is minimum for any but GT210 is also the minimum with Physx as a added bonus.

For 3k you will get many starting range graphics cards, primarily with ddr3 ram (which is slow for gaming). You will have to stretch your budget a little to buy a card with ddr5 ram (which is faster and important for good fps gaming). both the above mentioned ati cards are good and they come with ddr5 memory. Dont fall for the dealers who push lowend cards telling this has 1gb ram and so on...

Spend 5.3k - the 2gb Radeon 7750 on the Primeabgb.com sale is a good deal IMO!

Thank you all for your inputs. Many people are suggesting to go for high-end cards, but I am not ready to pay anything more than 3K. When I say light gaming, I mean it. I will, most probably play games once a month. Why waste money then? I think I will buy HIS HD 6450.
