Gt710 ddr5 compatibility

Hello techgurus, please answer my query. My pc specs are core2duo e4500 cpu, 4gb ddr 2 ram, windows 10 on 1 tb hdd. I recently got a ddr5 gt710 2gb card but on conneting it is not detected on pc and no display output but the fan is spinning and the card warms. Is the card compatible with my pc???
 
The Motherboard is Asus P5GCMX 1333 , previously i was using Gt9400 512 mb GPU. it is also working intermittently. Can i PCI slot be at fault ?
