performance wise

its a good choice for the given budget or go for

gigabyte GA MA785GMT-US2H for around 6k

for tricore or quad core go for phenome 2 X2 555BE and unlock the rest 2 cores for 5.2k

do all these board have onboard gfx
i prefer that is shouldnt have

and the creative xfi would be installed below the gfx card so this heat conduction will be stuck by hte sound card it seems
in abit a pci slot is present above the gfx card

Well, the Gigabyte MA785GMT-UD2H costs ~ 5.6k and the ASUS M4A785TD M EVO costs about 5.7k.

Those are the best and cheapest DDR3 mobos.

1 simple reason is the price now a days DDR 2-3 are almost same and in 1 yr prices of DDR3 will come down [due to competition]where as DDR2 can further go up

so for ur next upgrade, may be 2 yrs later u can buy 4GB ram at the price of 2 GB

go ddr3...
Its twice as fast as ddr2...

Think of it, u get a DDR2 800MHz or DDR3 1600MHz, twice...

Nothing of this sort  only the RAM latency, CAS, RAS timings affect the overall performance, also depends on the platform and the overall intercompatibility of the products :hap2:
Same for vip's comment

Proof read HowStuffWorks "Static RAM"

or wiki it

is this the correct time to upgrade
or shall i be with my abit itself

some one help me to buy this board
online or by some other means
