Audio Help - Need Gaming Headphones

hey guys , i needed ur help , i wanted 2 buy new gaming headfones , currently i have the seinheiser pc150 and im not happy with its performance and i really feel seinheiser suks without any further arguements whether 150 160 or wateva , i wanted ur help whether i should buy the new icemat black siberia or the 5H with internetal soundcard , dont worry abt price thats not an issue , i just want the best . :cool2:

please give ur opinion whether i should buy 5H or icemat or something else , please do not recomment seinheiser , thanks .

PS : MAINLY FOR GAMING !!! Counter strike source FTW :p
 
Virus dude, if you don't have a soundcard any gaming-grade headphones will suck :) You can't expect anything from onboard sound. Instead of looking for a new headphones set, invest in a good soundcard (X-Fi or Audigy 2 ZS).
 
The PC155 is useful only if you're going for tourneys where the computers lack soundcards... else, the PC155 cannot replace a good soundcard + gaming headphones.

Check out Razer's new soundcard and headphones too at www.razerzone.com - definitely looks hot but let's wait to see some reviews ;)

How can you say?? As Chaos said in the other thread, they have not mentioned any proper details..... no DAcs, nothing..... so, we have to wait for some proper details to come out before we can say whether it is hot or not :p

Nikhil, read my post again - I said it looks hot not is hot. Besides, if you can't help this guy, don't post at all.
 
hmm not helping at all , guys if i had a computer i wud buy 5H rite now without posting out here , the point is that i play in a lan cafe which has sexy comps ( coz this is uk not india :p) with 6800's amd etc 2 gb ram etc etc so i cant put in a sound card everytime i go there , thats y i was asking if icemat was worth it or should i settle for 5H , i already saw razer tarantula but no details have released and it probably needs the soundcard again as i said is no use for meh :)
