You can very well stick with default font size. I have very good eye sight, and most likely everyone too.

I don't know much about gaming, but if the gaming you're talking about is like hearts, minesweeper then you can very well skip graphic card from your build. Because in this budget fitting everything will be super tight, possible you have to extend your budget if you want everything.
Since you think you will need after market cooler, I am assuming that your video editing is gonna be an intense work. You can do video editing in i3, but it if it's going to be high resolution you really have to think about going for a better processor than an i3.
Try and be little more specific about these two parts - Video editing and gaming. Like what kinda gaming and video editing. So that people can suggest better.

SSD - Samsung 850 EVO is a better option than Intel 530 series
Already your budget is so tight, fancying about Corsair SPEC 1 is too much. :)

This will give you a rough idea. Do a bit of research and we can have a discussion and find what's the best you can find in your budget.

H81M-CS 3450
Cooler Master TX3 EVO 1600 * Up to my knowledge, this is the cheapest
GTX 730 5400 - No point going anything below this
WD 1TB 3700
i3 4130 8200
850 Evo 120GB 4500
Antec VSK 4000 U3 1900
8GB DDR3 2800
Zeb gaming mouse 650 - Since I don't much about gaming I am sticking with your choice here
Quantum KB 220 - ditto
LG 19.5" 5750
Seasonic S12 II Bronze 430W 4500
Asus DVD writer 1000
Numeric 600VA 1700 - Strike off this if you don't need one

Total 45370

Its better to go with Quality and up gradable components as the OP has asked for:

Intel Core i3 4150 -8200,
Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H -5500,
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB 1600/1866Mhz -3000,
Cooler Master Hyper 103 -1600,
WD Caviar Blue 1TB -3500,
Samsung 850 Evo 120GB -4500,
LG 20M37D 19.5" LED -5700,
MSI GTX750Ti 2GB -10400,
Antec VSK 4000 U3 -1900,
Seasonic S12II 430w -4500,
Asus 24D5ST DVD/RW -1100,
Logitech G100s Gaming Keyboard/Mouse -1600.
TOTAL -51,500.

OP needs to extend his budget quite a bit to get the best possible config for his purpose.

i3, after market cooler, SSD, graphic card to play high on graphic games smoothly and other components on 40k budget... I think you will have to relax something, either you have to shell out more and get what you want or skimp on the components and get things in 40k (most likely a Pentium build).

- Video editing could use good processor and more memory
- Both games and video rendering could use a decent graphic card

Gauge your requirement and your affordability and decide.

that will require a min. 20k+ expenditure on the gpu (gtx 970 or r9 290/390 class onwards) alone
the cpu will need to be at least a mid-level quad core (core i5) in the 12-15k range
mobo + ram + hdd/ssd + case + psu + kb/mouse/spkrs + monitor will be 35k+
the builds mentioned by bssunil and nac are at best mid-range and they're 45-50k
you're looking at around 60-70k min. for AAA gaming at high settings

that being said, it does not mean that you can't game at high settings on a budget.
you just need to be careful about where you spend.
for example, you can consider the second hand market (my i7-2600k, ecs p67h2-a2 and r9 280x toxic are all used and cost me 30k total)
also, if you need to shift your budget around then don't skimp on the gpu and the psu.
remember 80% of a game's workload is handled by the gpu alone
and a good psu is the best investment you can make in a pc regardless of it's purpose -the reasons are too many to list.
you can get by on an i3 and 4gb ram with a powerful gpu initially (for a while).

do you have an existing pc? some components can be salvaged from it or you could do a rolling upgrade like i did i.e. rather than blow a huge lump-sum in one go,
i instead upgraded as and when i got my salary. so, for example, first purchase was a new psu for my old p4, then next month a better case+fans then a new gpu, some extra ram, then a new cpu+mobo and finally it tapers down to smaller things like cpu cooler, speakers, mouse, ssd etc.

i am sorry that i haven't replied to you guys in such a long time.
Thank you for your efforts nac crapmypants bssunilreddy and your time, I am going to go wit bsuunilreddy's config/built.

SEE YA.......
