I came across this article which highlight about a new feature on ios 14 where the app developers will have to seek additional permission/consent from user to enable tracking.
This will impact the targeted ads that are based on your browsing..
How do you think it will impact the advertisements and userss?
 
Now the awareness on data and privacy is increasing among smartphones users. So companies like google are buying investment stake in the cell phone operators to get data from the operators themselves. Even if the user doesn’t give consent, the cell operators can easily identify the cell phone tower to which the user was connected thereby identifying the location; they can get the browsing history by getting the DNS query records and see what pages the user was visiting.
