Hey guyz im looking forward to build my first pc. I have a ps3 and was planning to upgrade to ps4 but my 2011 vaio is also getting a bit old so i thought to give a budget gaming pc under 40000. I will do moderate gaming, i am good with 720p, dont need ps4 like graphics it should just run latest games smoothly and other than gaming i just need pc for browsing, movies. No videos editing or photoshop. These are the configs i have shortlisted

Cpu-i3 6100
Gpu- msi 750ti 2gb
Psu- 500w
Monitor- ultrawide 25" lg
Ram-kingston fury ddr3 8gb×1 or
Corsair vengeance ddr4 8gb×1

My question is gpu and cpu combo ok?

Also dont know anything about mobo.
Will a 5000rs mobo be ok

why do you need a 25 inch Ultrawide monitor if you are planning to play at 720p .....

so 40k is for everything including monitor keyboard and mouse??

if your budget is 40k (including monitor) then don't spend more than 7k on monitor ..... u can get a 900p or 1080p tn panel with 5ms response time easily, lg monitors are well priced in india ......

so keeping the monitor budget aside ..... u are left with 33k go with then

go to nehru place if you live in delhi also look in websites like :

*mdcomputers.in
*primeabgb.com
*itdepot.com
*hardwire.in/com

1) CPU -- i3 6100 (8-8.5k)
2) Ram -- get 2133mhz as any above won't be supported by the motherboard nor the processor for ex. something like 2400mhz will trickle down to 2133 mhz so why pay more ..... (2.5k)
3) Motherboard -- H110 (4-4.5k)
4) Graphics Card - gtx 1050ti is going to launch soon in like 3-4 days so if you can wait a bit i would suggest that will cost about 12-14k.
5) 1 tb Western digital blue - 3.5k
6) psu - antev VP450P (2.5k-3k) or if you can find seasonic eco 430W for (3-3.5k) that would be much better..... u don't need more than 400W psu.
7) cabinet u prefer not more 2- 3k

Total -- 37-39k u can spend like 45k then do as u will get lot of performance as 750ti or even rx 460 2gb will not run gtaV or battlefield 1 at 1080p at medium setting ....

i can extend to 45k. which gpu you suggest in this budget.

ok then get the gtx 1060 3gb or amd rx 470(4gb) or amd rx 480(4gb if you can find it for under 18k)

u can play any games in 1080p in high settings and get respectable framerates with above listed GPUs.

----> keep everything i suggested above in the build same (except graphics card) and buy single stick of 8gb 2133mhz ram so you can add more ram in future if you wish to.

no 40k is only for the cpu....monitor and keyboard seperate and also after some research i have dropped the ultrawide monitor. I can go for 12k-15k monitor. Will this curved screen monitor be good
http://www.amazon.in/Samsung-Curved...e=UTF8&qid=1477375599&sr=1-6&keywords=monitor

it's not listed on Samsung india website they only have 26.5 inch and 27 inch monitor.

http://www.samsung.com/in/consumer/it/monitor

maybe its discontinued or samsung doesn't sell this model in india i am not sure though you can ask other people about it.

Hi bssunilreddy

Why you said never buy corsair VS series psu? What is the problem with them?

I have recently assembled a desktop with it in total 41000 complete
i3, 8gb , rx 460 4gb, dell monitor

because they use cheap parts ..... Chinese capacitors and thin wires not meant for high load such as even few hours of gaming OR 24x7 use case scenario ..... as is also listed on corsair website as use of basic purpose ......

only buy if you can't buy anything else they can be used on basic computers without graphics card which run for few hours a day

a good psu means that has good build which uses high quality components.

U can check reviews on websites which specifically review psu's then u will know.

u can buy seasonic 430 eco will cost about (3-3.5k)
u can also buy antec VP450P not as good as seasonic buy still better than corsair VS will cost about (2.5-3k)
