India is Xiaomi's 'biggest focus' after China, says global VP Hugo Barra

Kinda obvious since it's the only other place they can get away with their shit :p The American market would be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Then again, it's interesting to see how much they've grown with only a presence in China.

Why not?? No wonder once china starts shipping their condoms , cars, medicines etc etc. to India, Indians will be the first to buy them coz of dirt rates and still curse chinese products. Indian tendency to be blamed. :banghead: I think china can fool Indians pretty easily with their cheapest cheap items hence their maximum products get sold off here easily. And they can risk bringing any chinese product in India coz they know its gonna sell end of the day with followed by hefty demand. :p

I don't see any problem with Chinese products. gone are the days when MMX, karbonn etc used to import low cost shitty android and imprint their badge. now any 6k android works great straight out of the box and is pretty reliable
