Interesting people from Technology field in India

Hi there,

I was wondering if you guys know any people from the Technology field that are doing something interesting or different (not the regular made-a-tonne-of-money-doing-this-or-that). I know technology is a broad field but we dont have a leaning to any particular sub-field.

We're organizing a series of talks which could be a great platform for these people too and a learning opportunity/ Inspirational for those attending. and would love to know about any such people you have come across in India.

Sort of CCC. I think it would be great if not limited to technology. Because then only the geeks fly in, like it happens in CCC. By the way, where are you going to organize all this? I am from Delhi, would love to attend the talks and learn what others have to say about the thing they are passionate about.
