iPhone 5 Will Put Galaxy S III To Shame : Foxconn CEO

Samsung's Galaxy S III is selling like hot cakes , thanks to the powerful hardware and specs of the device , but according to Foxconn's CEO Terry Gou , consumers should not buy the Galaxy S III , and wait for the iPhone 5 instead, because it will "put Galaxy S III to shame " .

Apple products including the iPhone are assembled by Foxconn in China .

"Consumers should wait for the iPhone 5 because it will put the Samsung Galaxy S III to shame," a report published in Focus Taiwan quoted Foxconn CEO Terry Gou as saying in China Times.

However , Gou did not give any information about the upcoming iPhone 5 . According to rumors , the next iPhone will have bigger screen , new design with metal back and more .

So do u think the next iPhone will be able to beat the phone 'Designed For Humans' ?

Please stop posting such noobish FB oriented comments on a tech. forum like this. If you could substantiate your argument with valid points, it is understandable. But not with these cheap comments such as 'it cannot beat android' and 'S2 rulez' and so forth.

iOs is targeted for only 1 device and they know its capabilities and where it falls short but with android a new phone pops out everyday . Providing same experience over a wide range of handsets is hard. IMO S3 & S2 are the devices that are on the same level as iPhone and hence giving a tough competition for the iPhone .

How can iphone put s3 to shame..
Display: 4.8, smoled, 1280x720 vs 4.0, slcd2, 1136x640 (Assumed and if right - No)
Build quality: polycarbonate (for weak in material science it is also plastic) vs glass with metal and glass (Somewhat)
Processer: if they come with 28/32nm cortex a15 dual core or worse quad..vs quad core in s3 (yes it will)
os& UI: very debatable... But personally I feel, iOS leads the game (I use a note and ipod touch 4g and frequently come across s3)
Battery life... S3 be afraid, very afraid (small chips and large space, might be bigger battery)

But if foxconn ceo's words are true..
Theres should be some killer feature other than this... Lets start waiting...

Samsung (Korean) and 3-4 Taiwanese manufacturers (Hitachi, Sharp) were involved in price-fixing of LCD panels for a few years. Samsung turned into a witness and avoided large fines when that ring was busted. Foxconn is a Taiwanese company and the CEO seems to be still pissed about that. (Foxconn was a minor shareholder at that time and now a 40 percent share holder in Sharp). Further comments from the guy yesterday.

Sure S3 looks UGLY, but looks and performance never mix much!
I hope iPhone 5 is as good. It will be one Helluva Battle, with WP8 gaining lot of interest everyday..
 
Why praise a baby thats not yet born? Let it first cry and then adore the child. We don't know its specs, its pros and its flaws.
Foxconn CEO can't contemplate like this.
