OC & Modding Is 1.42 CPU Vcore fine for this overclock, or is it too high ?

Just got a 600 W Tagan PSU and tried some hands on ocing my E6750 (Plz refer attachments)

what do u guys think abt this.. is this ok for long term...

my concerns are high Vcore (abt 1.42 on idle) though at load it takes only 1.36V

ASUS P5B has very high vdrop and hence have to set a high vcore in bios or the system does not boot..

Plz suggest guys is the above safe...

idle temp is abt 40C
Load is abt 60 C max ... using Coolermaster N520

Yup the older 65nm's dont mind that much volts. And more importantly at those volts are the temps. So its all ok.....

Well still to be a bit on the safer side i would suggest you to reduce your voltage to bout 1.3.
