Pros and Cons:

Pros:

1. Cheapest LED Monitor available (about 10.8k as listed in deltapage.com)

2. Has HDMI, DVI, VGA connectivity and also provides cables for all the them.

3. Is Vesa supportable (this is wat i really craved for...wall mountable)

4. LED (light weight, low power consumption, bright dark areas etc etc)

Cons:

1. Uses a power brick(not much of a problem)

2. Color reproduction is a bit off, bluish tint to color. ( again not a gaint problem we can anyways calibrate the colors from factory settings to get a more accurate color)

i just got this monitor for a friend from lamington rd, costed me around 10.2k, really VFM LED monitor, but that was after i also got a bit high end rig from him from the same store...
excellent monitor for the price but color settings need to be adjusted to get that bluish tint out, also no HDMI cable is included so we need to buy a good Gold plated one for max results though DVI too is an option.

overall for if u need a LED for around 10K best option currently.

i think Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 12,000,000:1 not really from what i observed seems to be a overhype.

thanks for the reply.
Was desperately waiting for someones reply .
Afaik hdmi cable is included as shown in the video i provided.

can u specify the store from which he got the monitor
Btw watz the pricing @ prime

^^ got it for 10.3k from prime ...

yeah no hdmi cable

i think the indian version does not include the cable

or they must have tampered with the package

as the original 'acer' seal was tampered and resealed with a new acer logo tape again

i dont see any bluish shades

but the backlight bleeding is like hell!!

omg its hell of a bleeding didnt u ask at prime to show u the monitor before accepting?

My friend's monitor has almost negligible bleeding, dude there is certainly something fishy as u said og acer packing strip was tampered....

just do some research else contact prime/acer...

wat about the other two images

the fisrt one is a bit too exaggerated (it looks like a x-ray viewer ;))..its not that bad when seen directly

yaa i almost got a big scare afetr looking at first pic but maybe thats bcoz of camera @ night monde...

seems to be normal in 2nd pic but 3rd pic is not what i wud have expected from brand new led again maybe camera picking up some light with slightly different wavelengths (e.g u hold camera facing ur normal 40w tube pow on u see it flickering or black strips)

BTW guys how much backlight bleeding is considered normal

btw right side of my monitor's bezel gets more heated than than other sides ...is it normal considering its a led monitor

Called Acer tech support yesterday

had a tough time expaining them about backlight bleeding

dumb nuts have never heard the word before

They decided to send a engineer in 24-48 hrs

btw check out the third video....it does not have even MINUTE bleeding

Guys can u post some of ur lcd monitor,s bb images so that i can show the dumb moron some..

Come on guys reply something ..

almost 400+ views and no one is helping except siril_k

Getting worser day by day...

wat the hell is this now....

ok guys ...i feel like a douche now

FOR GOD's SAKE

Somebody reply!!!!!!

how's acer rma service?

two days still no sign of the acer engineer

called yesterday they promised to send them by evening!

^ Pack your bags - Call Prime -Tell them that ur coming - Take the monitor along with you ask WTH went wrong - Try giving it to prime for RMA/Replacement- Or give a nice dosage of wise words to the Acer/Prime guys ...Thats all I can think of now ...

Sorry if this did not help much , but thats all I think are the options ..

:|

prime wasnt of much help..

i told that its been only three days ..so why cant they replace it instead of contacting acer for warranty

they said that they dont handle replacement for acer monitors

Got the replacement two weeks ago....

everthing fine now ..

Will be posting videos soon ...b/w issues

Thanks for sharing the pics v.Na5h.

I got my monitor on Saturday from Prime. Seems good so far. Will post my pics/ experience soon. so far the monitor seems OK. Not excellent, I would say. In a completely dark room, I see that the top and bottom part of my monitor has slight BB.

^^ yeah even mine has some bb in left and right sides instead on top and bottom ....only noticable in a completely dark room

nevertheless its a great VFM after all all other 23" led ranges starts from 14k onwards
