Graphic Cards Is my GPU dying?

I have 6670 1GB DDR5
For the last two days while watching movies or browsing www for half an hour or 1 hr the monitor is flickering sometimes and then suddenly the display goes off and wont come back until i reboot.

I have kept the desktop idle but then nothing happens. After two incidents i removed my GPU from the slot and cleaned the dust while reapplying the thermal paste MX-2. But the same occurs again. Sometimes my mouse is getting stuck immediately before it goes off.

lowered the RAM Frequency from 1600 to 1333.

On monitoring the temps i found it to be 38 deg normal.

Done a colour TEST in monitor. No issue

Done 3dmark TEST. Does it indicate anywhere any anomaly?

Any time I move a window or do some activities, seem to cause the flashing.

Yesterday while watching a movie it crashed. Watch this :

Today i have opened the GPU, unplugged DVI cable and fixed VGA . Cleaned the PCIE slot and then while cleaning the GPU i found this:

Tomorrow i will start diagnosing everything with another PC.

If the gpu is stressed i.e. playing games - does the problem occur as well? does it work for the same amount of time before crashing?
Is there any onboard video or a another gpu you could use?
Try different ram sticks and slot combinations as it could be a problem with the ram.
the marks on the pins don't seem serious. you can clean that up with a soft eraser.
